ISEC steps up to meet new ESG demands
ISECs Secura-system is now ready to step up regarding functionality to meet new ESG demands. ISEC Systems has developed an interface that will enable smooth transfer of ESG-data to different distributors and other parties involved in the financial industry. ISEC Systems has developed an interface that will enable smooth transfer of ESG-data to different distributors and other parties involved in the financial industry.
The interface developed is a so called EET-file as defined by FinDatEx (Financial Data Exchange Templates), which is a joint structure established by representatives of the European Financial services sector industry with the view to coordinate, organise and carry out standardisation work to facilitate the exchange of data between stakeholders in application of European Financial markets legislation, such as MiFID II, PRIIPs and Solvency 2
The EET-file (The European ESG Template) itself is meant to facilitate the necessary exchange of data between product manufacturer and distributor for the purpose of fulfilling ESG-related regulatory requirements contained in the SFDR, relevant provisions of the Taxonomy Regulation, and the relevant delegated acts complementing MiFID II and IDD.
The Secura-system will support export of version 1.0 of the EET-file for article 6-funds starting in December 2022. The plan is then to develop support for version 1.1 during the beginning of Q2 2023. To be able to create and export EET-files for article 8 and 9 ISEC recommends its customer to contact software suppliers of specialized ESG-systems i.e. Datia, Sustainalytics etc.
